Diemel has propelled theyoung Late Model driver to a top three in WISSOTA National points as sinceit's debut he has won several feature events and finished well in others.Sunday night at the Proctor Speedway he won his second straight 25 lapfeature and fourth of the season. In other action Kelly Estey won his secondWISSOTA Modified feature of the season at the speedway, Johnny Brokingwon his first Midwest Modified feature at the speedway, Nick Oreskovichtopped the WISSOTA Super Stocks with his third feature win of the seasonand Josh Loucks won the Proctor Pure Stock feature his fourth of the season. |

NELSON, JUSTIN FEGERS CASH IN ON TWIN PORTS TWIN 25 FEATURES |

Darrell Nelson and Justin Fegers each won a 25 lap segment of the fifthannual AMSOIL Twin Ports Twin 25's and pocketed $1500 each for thewins. There was a bonus of $500 for the driver with the best average finish ineach feature an one of $1000 for the driver who could win both events. Nodriver has managed to pull that feat off in the four year history of the eventand that held true through the 2010 version. Don Copp of Brule, WI won the $500 bonus with finishes of 6th in the first segment and 3rd in the second.After the first segment a number is drawn denoting the inversion for thesecond segment which can be anywhere from 11to 18. This time theinversion was 11. |

BURDICK WINS SECOND STRAIGHT SUPER STOCK FEATURE |

It was also Burdick’s second career feature win in a WISSOTA division since moving from the Pure Stocks. Other winners included Kyle Peterlin, WISSOTA Late Models in a thriller over Darrell Nelson, Skeeter Estey in the Midwest Modifieds, Ryan Aho in the WISSOTA Modifieds and Dustin Follett in the Proctor Pure Stocks. |

PETERLIN SNARES FIRST PROCTOR WISSOTA LATE MODEL MAIN |

 By Jerry O'Brien 7-25-10 Proctor, MN Kyle Peterlin of Hibbing has been on a roll as of late since fielding thenew car and Sunday night recorded his second Late Model feature win of theweekend. The front row for the 25 lap WISSOTA Late Model featureconsisted of the feature winners from the previous two weeks each hoping tocollect their second career win.At the green flag Cory Jorgenson led off as Kevin Carlson jumped from the second row to chase Jorgenson. DarrellNelson, Harry Hanson and Jeff Provinzino ran about eight car lengths behindthe lead duo. The eighth starting Peterlin was on the prowl and raced tofourth as Nelson overtook Carlson for second. Most ran in the top groove asPeterlin moved into third. The caution flag flew for debris on the frontstretch, not what Jorgenson wanted to see. With ten circuits remainingJorgenson's restart was not good as he slipped off turn one and returned inlast place ruining a great run leaving the lead to Nelson who had Peterlinpasted to his back bumper. Provinzino, Hnason and Carlson were still in thetop five. Peterlin got a shot at Nelson on the bottom of turn two and shot intothe lead. For the next few laps the two ran side by side and traded the leaduntil Peterlin got another great run and pulled out a couple of car lengths asthe white flag flew. He held off Nelson for the win. Provinzino, Hanson andCarlson finished in the top five. |
